The Michelin Guide's review
This outstanding estate, inhabited by the same family for ten centuries, is the work of a young aristocrat and art connoisseur, Herman d'Hinnisdäl, who had the family manor entirely transformed between 1838 and 1864. The castle, troubadour in style outside, was decorated inside by the Duthoit brothers, sculptors from Amiens. The 130-ha landscaped park features hills, copses and long lawns that offer glimpses of the forest that is part of the estate.
