  The Michelin Guide's review
At 1 310m above sea level, the Lac de Creno is the lowest of Corsica's glacial lakes. Shallow and relatively small (1.8ha), it has a mysterious charm and is surrounded by Austrian pines, whose trunks are reflected in its calm waters. Legend has it that the devil created Lake Creno as a place to hide. As it is marshy, the lake is unsuitable for swimming.
