  The Michelin Guide's review
The "valle della luna", to the northwest of Aggius and not far from Tempio Pausania in the north of the island, owes its name to the evocative rocks which are reminiscent of the surface of the moon. Among the many spectacular rock formations, one near the road resembles a giant's head that is sometimes called the "Capuchin monk" or "Plato".
