From Ágios Nikólaos to Móhlos, the road follows a well-chosen route along the magnificent rocky coast of the Gulf of Mirabello. The road winds its way past many inlets, where bathing is possible, and affords beautiful views of the mountain inland and the Sea of Crete, dotted with desert islands, all of which under fierce sunshine.
