The Michelin Guide's review
This noble 11C building is a fine example of early southern Romanesque. The exterior with its archaic herringbone stone walls, squat bell tower and chevet bearing simple arcaded decoration retains its original distinction. In the chancel and apse there are traces of 13C wall paintings with scenes from the Old and New Testament. The 11C crypt with its crude square capitals serves as an undercroft to the identically dimensioned chancel.
