On the banks of the Amstel, this former 17th century hospice was for many years home to a branch of the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. Since the invasion of Ukraine, links with the Russian institution have been severed. The site is now home to the H'ART Museum, which hosts prestigious temporary exhibitions in collaboration with the British Museum, the Centre Pompidou and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
