Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
The Port House backs up the MAS in its role as Antwerp's new architectural leading light. Sitting on top of the building, a former barracks of the Docks area, is an impressive cut diamond, designed by star architect Zaha Hadid, who died in 2016. A symbol of a port and a city, at once steeped in a rich history and embracing the future, the complex houses the port authorities and a panoramic space that commands a phenomenal view. Have your camera at the ready!
