Basílica de San Vicente

The Michelin Guide's review
This large basilica stands on the alleged site of the 4C martyrdom of St Vincent and his sisters. It is Romanesque in style, although its pointed vaulting bears witness to the fact that construction extended from the 12C-14C. The main porch with its incredibly lifelike statue-columns is an outstanding sculptural achievement. Inside, beneath the lantern is the martyrs' tomb, a late-12C masterpiece crowned by a strange canopy, thought to be by the same sculptor as the door.
