Situated in the Palau del Mar, a group of early-20C brick buildings that housed Barcelona port's storage depot, this museum charts the history of Catalonia from prehistory to the present day. The premises are also home to the Catalonia Historical Documentation Centre, which has a wealth of written and audio-visual material.
