Wendelstein is home to four hiking paths. The path up to the summit is the most attractive, but there is also a cable-car or the more picturesque rack-railway. At the summit (1,838m/6,030ft), on which stand a solar observatory and a chapel, enjoy the fine 360° view of the surrounding peaks.
