The museum presents a reconstruction of a large Viking-age home that was exhumed a few metres from the site in 1983. Faithful to the original, the interior has been done out so as to give an idea of the different techniques used by the Vikings: food preservation, weaving, woodwork; objects and furniture made using these methods. Various additional activities take place in summer (rides on a cart or a Viking boat, traditional feasts, tour of the Viking farm etc).
