The Michelin Guide's review
The museum displays impressive collections relating to textile finishing (the term denoting the different final stages in treating fabric) that forged the region's industrial identity. A second section, shown alternately with temporary exhibitions, is dedicated to the works of Victor Charreton (1864-1936), the post-Impressionist painter who founded the museum in 1929.
