  The Michelin Guide's review
Nothing apart from this castle remains of Pre-War Brest. It was built in the 11C, on a site fortified by the Romans. Vauban modernised the defences, transforming the cannon terrace. The castle was restored after WWII and is now home to the Maritime administrative offices and the National Maritime Museum.
 Location
 Boulevard de la Marine29200 Brest
