Cloisters of the abbey of Cadouin

Well worth the diversions
Religious monument
The Michelin Guide's review
On the Way of St James, the abbey of Cadouin is the scene of beautifully preserved cloisters, built in the 15C and 16C. In addition to handsome proportions and a wide diversity of detail, note the Renaissance- and Late Gothic-style doors, the richly ornamented keystones and extremities and the illustrated capitals... The chapter hall has been turned into Suaire Museum, which charts eight centuries of religious fervour and pilgrimage.
