The Archaeological Museum is housed in the former Agios Frangiskos basilica, which serves as a backdrop to a harmonious scenography presenting the rich past of ancient Kydonia. The collections include jewellery, magnificent painted terracotta coffins, figurines of bulls found at Tsiskiana, Cretan coins, a mosaic from Roman times, as well as Minoan artefacts.
