  The Michelin Guide's review
With the blue ridge of the mountains in the background, the "temple of the Lion-Buddha" is a majestic sight. Founded in 1345 by King Pa Yo, the temple comprises a number of different buildings in the Lan Na style, which have been richly decorated by local wood carvers. Sights of interest include the library, a delicate wooden building, and the Phra Wihan Lai Kam built in the 19C in late-Lan Na style and decorated with superb frescoes, some of which are unfortunately in poor condition.
