The Michelin Guide's review
The Itsanitaq Museum houses a splendid collection of Inuit carvings in stone, ivory and bone, assembled over more than 50 years by Oblate missionaries. Some of the carvings depict different aspects of daily Inuit life while others highlight traditional legends and new technologies introduced by European settlers such as the aeroplane and snowmobile.
