  The Michelin Guide's review
Protected by a metal canopy, the imposing structure of Casa Grande (32ft high) has retained its four floors largely intact. Once the main building of a village spread out along the river, the house was built before 1350 towards the end of the Hohokam Classic period (1100-1450). Its orientation suggests that it may have been used for astronomical observations or that it maybe had a religious significance.
