Eraclea Minoa

  The Michelin Guide's review
Located on the outskirts of Capo Bianco, Eraclea Minoa was once a Greek city occupying a magnificent site; the vestiges include the ruins of dwellings made of rough bricks, as well as a theatre, built of very crumbly stone, which is consequently in very poor condition. Its name is probably linked to the legend of King Minos of Crete, who is said to have followed Daedalus to Sicily to punish him for helping Ariadne and Theseus get out of the labyrinth. There is also a long stretch of white sandy beach for you to enjoy.
