River Burntollet runs through this vast forest, carving out deep gorges with its brown peat-heavy waters, caverns and rapids. Coming from the car park, take the path that leads to the highest waterfall. Amid lush vegetation, the river groans at the bottom of the ravine, on the slopes of which an abundance of moss, lichen and fern grows.
