The Michelin Guide's review
While the intensity of the fighting knocked the higher parts off the building, it is still recognisable as the former Lusignans' St Nicholas's Cathedral. It was built between 1298 and 1326 in finest French Gothic style. The inside, devoid of all decoration, conserves its original majesty. Opposite the building, an esplanade occupies the site of the Venetian governors' palace, a few arcades of which have survived.
