City and village
  The Michelin Guide's review
This district notably houses the cathedral, the Reformation Wall and the Town Hall, but also many old streets and pretty squares such as that of Bourg-de-Four, where fairs were held in the Middle Ages. It is emblematic of the Geneva of bygone days, formerly limited by its picturesque and beautifully restored ramparts. Old Geneva is also one of Geneva's smartest districts, rich in art galleries, antiques' dealers, architects' firms and doctors. It is at its busiest on weekends, when the weather is fine.
