  The Michelin Guide's review
The climb up the stony slopes of Monte Renoso is best left to more experienced walkers. From Bergeries de Capannelle, a track lined with cairns heads southwestward to meet the Source de Pizzolo then Lake Bastiani (2 089m altitude). Follow the moraine that borders the lake to reach the crest. The highest peak, Monte Renoso (2 352m altitude) looms like a massive dome covered with scree and loose rocks. From the top, the panorama takes in the whole of the south of the island, from the eastern coast to the Golfe de Valinco and Golfe d'Ajaccio, as well as Sardinia.
