The Michelin Guide's review
One of the two main roads in the centre of Glastonbury, Magdalene Street is lined with pretty 17C-19C houses; the other, High Street, is dominated by the 15C George and Pilgrims Hotel and the 14C abbey tribunal that was once part of the abbey here. The tribunal houses a museum with objects taken from archaeological digs on the site of a lakeside settlement dating back to the Iron Age.
