As you walk through the town, in the Luis de Camões square, and on the Largo da Sé and streets Francisco de Passos and Dom Miguel de Alarcão (no 25) you will notice numerous houses decorated with family coats of arms, from the 16 and 18C. In the square, behind the cathedral, you will see the solar Alarcão, a beautiful granite manor.
