The Michelin Guide's review
This vast and magnificent multicultural complex, designed by the Korean-American architect Kyu Sung-woo (1941), adjoins the famous 18 May democratic square. In this way, the centre is at once a memorial site (to remember), a place of research and interculturality between Asian countries (to understand and exchange) and a citizens' park where people can express themselves, a right that was tragically confiscated in 1980.
