This charming garden was created with the assistance of Hasselt's Japanese twin town, Itami. It was laid out as a 17C tea garden. A tea house and a fairytale ceremonial house were built between the ponds, rocks, winding paths, waterfall and cherry trees which are covered with blossom in Spring. A tea ceremony is held in the garden every month.
