The Michelin Guide's review
The Fujian style is visible in the ideograms on the walls and pillars of this pagoda, as well as in the ceramics on the roof illustrating Chinese legends. A highly venerated site, the pagoda is dedicated to Quan Am, goddess of compassion and mercy, whose statue stands beneath a glass shrine near the main altar, alongside the Buddha Sakyamuni and opposite Thien Hau, dressed in gold. The goddess Quan Am, in her white robes, can be seen in the room to the rear.
