The Michelin Guide's review
Situated at the confluence of the Bogie and the Deveron, the ruins of Huntly Castle are famous for their heraldic sculptures. The castle was destroyed in 1594 and rebuilt in the early 17C, at which time the upper levels were embellished. Inside, the main rooms have pretty sculpted fireplaces.
