This workshop enjoyed its golden age from 1910 to 1920, with its Art Deco and Bauhaus jewellery. At the time, its clients included Chanel and the major Parisian department stores. Today, production has all but ground to a halt, but a chain-making machine still operates during visiting hours so visitors can see how a wire is turned into a chain and the distinctive odour of oil still lingers in the air.
