The Michelin Guide's review
In the Gulf of St Lawrence, between the Gaspé peninsula and the Côte-Nord, Anticosti Island, equivalent in size to Cyprus, is the largest island of Quebec. The majority of this huge territory is a protected national park where nature lovers can admire a stunning variety of wildlife and wild flowers. Riddled by more than 100 rivers teeming with Atlantic salmon and trout, the region is also well known to deer hunters for the abundance of game.
