  The Michelin Guide's review
According to legend, the Orange is strewn with diamonds. Augrabies, the "place of great noise" known to the Nama people, is a 56m-high waterfall caused by a fracture in granitic gneiss plates and the ideal place to look for precious stones. Usually an unremarkable sight, in flood it becomes something very different and all safety regulations should be rigorously adhered to: those unfortunates who have fallen in have never been found.
