The Michelin Guide's review
The kimonos on display in the Art Museum in an exquisite collection entitled "Symphony of Lights" are the work of a master of the art, Itchiku Kubota (1917-2003). Made using modern techniques, but respectful of a thousand-year-old tradition, the painstaking work of the artist is showcased in a pyramid-shaped structure supported by the trunks of 16 cypress trees. The new wing, inspired by Gaudí, displays a collection of Tombodama glass pearls from Mesopotamia, some of which are 3,500 years old.
