Avenue Otesjui, to the north of Kochi city centre, has been the venue of the Sunday market for some three centuries. Several hundred stalls along 1.2km selling fresh produce and handmade goods ranging from vegetables, fruit, flowers, fish and seafood to coral objects, knives, porcelain and pottery.
