Château des Roure

Michelin Guide
Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
Roure château was built in the 16C on the Pont d'Arc road to control the gorges of the Ardèche. In 1703, it was stormed by the camisards. Its architecture is inspired by Florentine palaces of the Renaissance era, as the courtyard illustrates. Inside is a silk museum and a silkworm farm that is still in operation.
