  The Michelin Guide's review
Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, a jewel of Lan Na architecture, makes a striking first impression with its majestic staircase flanked by two long white naga. Once through the Naga Gate with its finely worked lintel, the Luang wihan, the temple's main building dating from the 15C, comes immediately into view. Its strong teak pillars support an elegant triple roof built in wood and covered with red tiles. Just to the rear, a large mondop houses a 450-year-old Buddha.
