The Michelin Guide's review
Behind a Tiahuanaco-style façade, the Museo Nacional de la Cultura Peruana is devoted to ethnography, folklore and crafts, from the pre-Incan period to the present-day. In addition to Incan ceramics and keros (vases) you will see mates burilados (dried and decorated gourds), altarpieces, examples of contemporary working class ceramics, containers and fabrics from the Amazon regions, together with watercolours by Pancho Fierro.
