  The Michelin Guide's review
This shop was founded in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty and originally stood on Regent Street. This "Emporium" showcased a vast array of wares imported from all over the British Empire. The Liberty brand, however, became known principally for its fine cotton fabrics with floral patterns. The magnificent mock Tudor frontage was built in 1924 with oak and teak timbers salvaged from two Royal Navy ships.
