Behind gates by Tijou (1707) this red-brick mansion is the largest and oldest in Hampstead, and indeed one of the most beautiful. It has some fine artefacts: the Benton Fletcher collection of 18 keyboard instruments covering the period 1540 to 1805, not to mention porcelain, enamel work and pictures by Samuel Dixon and William Nicholson.
