  The Michelin Guide's review
Louis de Geer purchased the Lövsta Ironworks in 1643 and made them the centre of his mining empire. His imposing manor house, with its elegant interior decoration by Jean Eric Rehn, and beautiful Baroque gardens overlook the perfectly preserved workers' houses standing along the main street. The church, completed in 1727, houses a famous Baroque organ built in 1728 by Johan Niclas Cahman.
