The Michelin Guide's review
Approximately 15km after Suleskar, situated on the plateau of Sirdal, the spectacular road (closed in winter) descends via hairpin bends through an almost other-worldly mineral landscape to Lysebotn. From this village nestling at the head of the fjord, the views are magnificent. From there, the onward journey is via a car-ferry that navigates the whole fjord, passing beneath Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen). The view is just as impressive from below as from the summit.
