The Michelin Guide's review
The remarkably well-restored Museo Farmaceútico was founded in 1882 by Ernest Triolet from Nancy (France) who married into the Figuero family, leading lights in Cuba's pharmacy profession. In the shop, faience vases and Limoges porcelain imported from France embellish the shelving of precious woods. Among other curiosities are a fine dispensary table, medicinal plant-based recipes, the first baby's bottle made in Paris and, in the old laboratory, a variety of copper instruments.
