  The Michelin Guide's review
 The Tudor-style brick mansion (1911) where Charles Allis - the first president of Milwaukee's Allis-Chalmers Company - once lived now houses his collection of art, paintings and antique furnishings. The museum is best known for its group of Asian pottery and stoneware, as well as its works of American art (Hudson River School) and European art (furniture and a few paintings from the Barbizon School.
