The walls of this Church (13C) have been the setting of four parliamentary assemblies, (1307, 1333, 1370, 1414) and major ecclesiastical conferences. In spite of that, St Michael's is both minimalist and welcoming, with its simple Romanesque façade, fine Gothic detail, well-proportioned interior and superb Artesonado ceiling.
