''Bringing the past to life'' could be the motto of the Forges de Pyrène, a 5ha museum where you can explore 125 bygone trades, from milkmaids with dog sleds, the first manufacturer of petanque balls, peddlers, teeth pullers, cork sellers, slate quarrymen and pearl embroiderers. The barns house the workshops where craftsmen do demonstrations, as well as the Iron Museum.
