  The Michelin Guide's review
You will easily spot the royal palace, which forms a broad, bricklined terrace looking down over the Argolid plain. This is the site of the palace's largest courtyard. It was originally accessed via a great staircase, to the right, of which 18 steps remain. At the end was the megaron, the main room of the complex, where the king had his throne.
