This mansion, a gem of the Neapolitan Baroque, is attributed, albeit without formal proof, to the great architect Ferdinando Sanfelice. The spectacular open double-flight staircase has a very distinctive shape known as ad ali di falco ("falcon's wings"). Decorated with rococo stuccowork on each floor, the residence is reminiscent of a film set, and indeed several films have been shot here.
