  The Michelin Guide's review
The Yale Center for British Art is housed in a concrete, steel and glass building (1977, Louis Kahn) that allows natural light to filter down three- and four-story open courts to display areas. The holdings-the most comprehensive collection of British art outside the United Kingdom-revolve around Paul Mellon's bequest to the university in 1966.
