  The Michelin Guide's review
The Gaspésie is a peninsula jutting into the St Lawrence River and Gulf of St Lawrence. To the north, the wild and rocky coastline is particularly spectacular at Forillon and Percé. Further south, the aptly named seaside resort Baie des Chaleurs is protected from the prevailing winds. The mountainous and forested inland area is ideal for hiking and animal watching. In addition to the sumptuous landscapes, there is a very vibrant culture, making the Gaspé Peninsula the jewel of Quebec tourism.
