  The Michelin Guide's review
An unusual non-aligned doorway fronts Hang Pagoda ("Cave Pagoda"), an attractive slender white building surrounded by coconut palms and mature mango trees, in the shade of which novices are accommodated in cells. The sanctuary was totally destroyed by American bombings in 1968, from which only the statue of the Buddha has survived. The peace and quiet that reigns in the monastery today make these tragic events, depicted in a bas-relief, seem far away.
